Small Groups

Swamp Church has organized Small Groups to encourage members in their Christian walk. Each group is comprised of ten to fifteen people that meet in homes with a leader. Each group follows a planned curriculum of study that follows a pattern to help members to mature in their faith. The goal is for every member who so desires to be a part of a small group.

Church Library

The Church Library is an integral part of the church program. It exists to serve and meet the needs of the total church family, providing information, inspiration, and recreation conducive to personal growth in the Christian faith. The library is open before and after services on Sunday mornings and whenever there are meetings involving the whole congregation.

The library offers books for adults, children and youth. Educational, animated and family videos are also available. Books may be borrowed for three weeks and videos for one week. The weekly periodical, The Mennonite, may also be borrowed.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is held annually usually toward the end of June. There is a VBS Committee that plans the annual theme. Vacation Bible school is a five-day (Monday through Friday) program from 9 AM to 11:45 AM. A final picnic and program is held on Friday evening at 6:30 PM. The picnic is for the students as well as their families. At that time the students usually invite their family members into their classroom and share their class projects. VBS is a program for children ages 4 through the 8th grade. Children enjoy many hands-on activities as well as the time of music, Bible learning, craft making, recess and daily snack. This program is open to the community. All are welcome!
