Pasotr Verle has a multitude of strengths including his strong Biblical beliefs, love for the church, good communication skills, and the ability to plan and carry out tasks. He is strongly committed to developing and utilizing members’ God given talents in a volunteer team environment and in working together to further God’s kingdom.
In his free time Pastor Verle enjoys playing golf and reading. He is an avid reader, enjoying everything from theology to science-fiction to fantasy.
Pastor Verle continues to learn and grow both personally and in his ministry. He has taken Spiritual Direction training at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary, Mediation Skills Training at Lombard Mennonite Peace Center and Natural Church Development. Using Natural Church Development he reviewed congregations for the conference to determine their health and if conference help was needed. Verle has done congregational coaching training and has done Family Systems work. Family Systems training helps one become aware of the impact birth families have in congregational life.
Pastor Verle brings to our congregation his passion for preaching, a model of spirituality, and a vision of developing, supporting and encouraging each person at Swamp to find and develop his spiritual gifts in order to help us grow God’s kingdom.

Emily has loved music since before she could talk! Now, as a graduate of Moravian College’s music program and a long-time worship leader, Emily desires to use music to worship God and encourage and grow believers. Whether leading corporate worship in a church setting or sharing stories in print or on the radio, Emily takes delight in sharing God’s truth and love with others. She is currently enrolled in Eastern Mennonite Seminary working toward a Masters in Church Leadership.
For Emily, family and faith are the glue that holds her life together. In the midst of her family’s frequent pastoral ministry relocations, she learned to cherish the support and stability that comes from a loving home. When she’s not involved in ministry, Emily co-runs her own web design and radio production company and enjoys playing with her favorite kids in the whole world: her kid brother, nephew, and niece.
